The Bream Creek vineyard was planted in 1974 by Fred Peacock. One of the first commercial vineyards established in the Apple Isle state, it has long been considered one of the very best sites in Eastern Tasmania. Fred's premium cool-climate wines are concentrated and long, thanks to the mature vines and low yields.

Tassie's oldest Riesling vines planted 44yrs ago!

“Comes from Bream Creek's 44yo riesling vines, believed to be the oldest in Tasmania. It is already flaunting its wares with titratable acidity of 8.2g/l and residual sugar of 7.3g/l. It simply ratchets up the power of all in the inputs, and will give pleasure when very young or very old - and any point along the way.” 96pts - James Halliday - Wine Companion
