We've featured the Chardonnay, promoted their pinot Noir, now it's time to put the Rose in lights. I'm talking Bass River from Gippsland, one of the more established Gippsland producers but without a doubt, one of the best value producers too. These wines are very good extraordinary well priced in the context of the region. This rosé is made from equal parts of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and barrel fermented Pinot Gris, bright pink with strawberry and fruity notes of red berries.
It picked up Trophy for Best Rose at Gippsland Wine Show. A great feat considering the competition.
