Bass Phillip Estate Pinot Noir 2016

''Character writ large. This is a meaty, undergrowthy pinot noir with orange blossom, musk and redcurrant characters both ushering it all along, and offering a certain prettiness. It gets down and dirty but it spruces up well too. Firm tannin helps add some grunt; spiced cherries add another element; stewed rhubarb adds to the bass. Chockablock with interest.'' 93 Points, Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
