Churton is a small Marlborough winery in the Waihopai Valley, owned and operated by Sam and Mandy Weaver.
The fruit is sourced from a close planted / high density vinyard of 5,000 vines / hectare. The wine is intensely fresh and floral on the nose with lifted apricot and lime aromas. The palate is dry and plush in texture with great concentration of just ripe apricots, whilst boasting a vibrant mineral backbone and impressive strong lime citrus finish. Supremely balanced with a soft, creaminess and exceptional persistence.
Churton use biodynamic practices in the vineyard operations and are Certified Organic with Biogro.
