Andrew Thomas started Thomas Wines with a view to making single vineyard Semillon and Shiraz that would rival the Hunter Valley greats. Sourced from low-cropping old and mature vineyards, these wines already faithfully respect the region and site.

For this wine Andrew ‘borrowed’ the concept from the Triple J’s segment of the same name with the idea to present the ‘original’ and a ‘cover version’ from one of the Hunter Valley’s most iconic Semillon vineyards. For 2019 Tassie winemaker Joe Holyman was invited to come up and have some fun with a small parcel of Braemore Semillon.
